Robin Tung is a Taiwanese American writer, mother, and contemporary art enthusiast. Her writing has been featured or is forthcoming in Black Warrior Review, The Florida Review, Third Coast Magazine, StoryQuarterly, Literary Matters, NANO Fiction, The Baltimore Review, Sugar House Review, and Valparaiso Poetry Review among others.
She is the recipient of the Milton A. Saier Award in Fiction (2006) and winner of The Baltimore Review Winter Fiction Contest (2022). She was a former contributor to Daily Serving, an international contemporary arts platform, and has published art reviews in Art Practical, INK Magazine, The Montreal Review, and Surface Magazine. She is a graduate of UC San Diego (B.A.) and the Johns Hopkins University (M.F.A.).
She and her daughter live in Los Angeles where they loaf around and eat shaved ice.
